As a listener to Quasar – The Album Station you have probably come to realise just how much great album music we play. But, you may have also realised there is just a little something missing. Yes that’s right, no one trying to sell you pensions, life insurance, car insurance, leather sofa’s or wonderful places to holiday in the sun.
Unlike most other radio stations we are not run by suits or bean counters, we’re not here to get rich we just want to do what we love, play great music and produce real radio.
However we live in a world governed by money and nothing comes for free, the costs of streaming, PRS & PPL licensing, broadband and professionally produced imaging etc. are met by the guys on the station, our merchandising and some of our listeners who appreciate our great music and what we are doing. As such we are a public subscription radio station.
